Last Sat was a v fun experience for me n sum of my gal frens...
Elynn , Arlinda , Imah & Myself attended a cupcake buttercream icing lesson for our v first time
It was a new experience for all of us n definitely enriching....
We were taught by Arene...who conducted d lesson at her lovely crib at Jln Lateh...


The pics u saw above r my first two cupcakes...i chose blue n pink to be d main colors to work w at first....
The first technique dat Arene taught us to decorate cupcake was simply icing and using tip 16 to create small flowers/star-like motives

There u c Elynn and Arlinda...enjoyin themselves...

The next technique we learnt was...swirling...which to me was quite tough in d beginning...

I had to practice few times before making a perfect swirl...

After the swirl...we learnt how to create bigger floral motives ....AND..dats d cupcake design i came up w....

From 2...to 5 different designs....and of cos...d last one was Basket weaving technique which was d toughest i must say...

Really needs steady hands and patience...

At the end of d day...der u c...so many cute and colorful creations of cupcake decorated by me n my galfrens...

Elynn n i really enjoyed d class n looking forward to d follow up class...insya allah to be conducted after Hari Raya.....

Glad our Hubs enjoyed d cupcakes we made...hehehh....
