Yesterday, 20th Aug 08 was our 1 YR ANNIVERSARY together...

Despite all d hurdles n obstacles dat we went thru...

Heee.....its been only 1 yr....but yet SO MANY AND I MEAN SO MANY THINGS hav happened..

In fact we r even planning for d big day which is goin to be in 4mths time soon...

I fetched jop frm his DRIVING LESSON at ComforT Driving Centre and headed to town w no plans watsoever....heehehe..

Unlike the Valentine's day or his bday whereby we had so many events lined up n surprised in hand..dis time...its more impromptu..

Perhaps cos we both hav been super duper bz w d wedding prepz...Cos even yesterday we were still bz goin ard lookin for our hantaran gifts n i had to communicate w d nparks and catering person for arrangements etc...

After tired window shopping ard town looking for MY 'HANTARAN' BAG...we finally decided to have our meal...
I had dis...hahah diet lah konon...baked potatos aje...heheh w sum fried calamaris

And jop had his fish w butter sauce..

After dinner jop suggested for both of us to split up and look for each other's gifts.

Given an estimation time of 1hr we both hav to walk ard town and buy each other's present/presents..things dat we both might hav hinted we want etc...

He was enjoyin himself goin to few places w no problems while i was goin frantic frm TANGS to TAka and finally to PARAGON where i finally find d things i thought he mite like...

Wanted to get him a new watch for werk but just cudnt find a nice watch w hrt rate monitor n suitable for diving at d same time...

So....1 hr later we meet......

So sweet of him to buy me dis pair of shoes erm cant recall d brand...sumthing TIGER hahahha...Cos he noes i can only wear flat shoes w my bunion injury...and i hav alwiz been complaining having pains wearin sum uncomfortable shoes...
I love dis pair...so cute...w ribbons even at d back and has a shiny golden fabric finish

He had things he had to try on...so i met him at paragon for him to immediately try his presents on..And true enuff we had to change his tshirt frm M to L...jEan's cutting not suitable too...but luckily d belt n shoes are of d ryte sizes...



The shoes cant be revealed cos its meant to be for our wedding hantaran and actually same goes for d belt....So he says not counted...

In a WAY...i only got him d jeans and tshirt for Anniversary present cos d rest of d items are for hantaran gifts...hehheh....So....dat means...he won dis time...cos he bought me MORE ITEMS...And i was soooo happy...





Just look at the gleam on my face...other than d pair of shoes he got me which i hav showed above...

He bought me lots more items which he noes i hav been wanting to get...

He got my hints hahahhahah





He got me the Purple Anna Sui Cosmetics container i've been wanting to get , a Limited edition DIOR ADDICT 2 PERFUME(Summer LITCHI) , MAC mascara cos i was complaining MY Mascara has finished and i was using a temporary maybeline one i bought at watsons which caused my eyes to hurt becos its watery n smudgy...so taughtful of JOP...hahah didnt noe he wud notice...

He also got me few more items which he noes are practical for me to hav..like d Biotherm TONER and Moisturiser to complement d same range of facial wash he bought me few days ago , a Home decor magazine he grabbed frm BORDERS cos we r already starting to plan for our FUTURE HOME and i hav alwiz been complaining i cudnt decide on how to furnish our HOME

And last but not lease dis Armani Exchange purse which i really like.....

:-)....so happy...so happy...who wudnt ryte??

More updates of d wedding preparation....
I was feelin v bored n lonely becos Jop had a dinner to attend w his colleagues..
So i went out w my bestfren to hunt for her 'bridesmaid dress' at d same time..




We went to all sorts of boutiques but just couldnt find a lilac dress that we both want..
However , we came across a small cute push-cart which sells wedding room decorations n stuff w lots of other pretty things like dis thing below here...
I hav found a PERFECT LILAC wedding ring bearer in a form of a ballerina seating on a cushion....Hehehhe..fell in love w it instantly...
I bought it immediately just in case it gets sold out

Wirdani n i also went around to look for my wedding dinner gift/favours .
I am trying to find sumthin nice n practical for d guests to hav for attending my wedding..
We managed to find sumthin v cute n useful but hav yet to confirm becos d shop owner hav to get back to me if he could order 300pcs of dat item..

On sat evening , Jop brought me out to take my mind off everything and we went for SHOPPING after sooooo long...
Didnt shop as much as i used to cos now EVERY CENT COUNTS..
So i merely replenish my BIOTHERM skincare products which r finishing and in fact jop was d one who paid for it and i really hav to thank him for it...
I hav really stopped shoppin for my 'wants' but only prioritise my 'needs'
jOP also brought me for a meal at ARNOLD'S to reward me for working so hard....:-)W
Dunno why he was grinning....but we had fun laffing at each other's jokes d whole time...
After dinner we went window shopping for furnitures AND 'BERANGAN' abt our FUTURE HOME..
We kinda like dis unique partition thingy...
Then we went to bugis ...didnt plan but sumhow came across dis LOVELY RING frm CITIGEMS so i decided to forgo d one at GOLDHEART as dis one is too lovely to resist...
So jop already bought my wedding ring...but i havent buy his...which i hav reserved frm TIFFANY & CO.
Jop bought a new hp..so u can see how engrossed he is w his new toy which seems too gd to be true...even i am jealous..
U can watch TV!!I MEAN TV AS IN SURIA CHANNEL , LISTEN TO RADIO and many more using dis cool slick compact hp...dun ask me wat model..cos i DUNNO!!


It was indeed a fun n enjoyable day spent together...
We watched MONEY NO ENUFF 2 and i am so glad jop enjoyed d show..in fact he shed tears halfway while watching d movie...

Tomoro jop n me hav an appt w d caterer for our wedding who is non other den BABA( Nadya Fresyana's dad)...Yeah..
Baba is goin to cook for our dinner...
His briyani is marvellous...i hope my guests wud be able to enjoy great fd on my big day...and dats d reason y i chose BABA to be our caterer...
Tomoro's meeting is to discuss in detail abt d dishes and many other details..

Tue , i might be goin JB w Mel n Ian IF D PLAN goes smoothly...
Otherwise...i wud just be bringing Mummy out for dinner as jop n me planned to take her out dis week....
Wed.......is goin to be a special day for both jop n myself as it would be OUR FIRST ANNIVERSARY ...hahahha
I noe it sounds weird sumhow..but yeah...
Dis wed is our first yr anniversary of d time we first met which was 'LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT'..hahha dun puke...and we r already in d midst of planning for d big...

Aniway i am in gd mood...HIGH SPIRITS to be more defined...
Y.....Cos i hav been havin lotsa worries n unpleasant thoughts (the possiblities)of MY FUTURE MIL not being able to hav d 'same frequency' of thoughts and ideas intially BUT....
I just had a long chat w her just now as i am not werking 2day...
JOP gave me d honor OF ANNOUNCING OUR NEW VENUE to her...
God noes how nervous i was....
Jop was supposed to do d talkin but ended up....ME had to do it...

Mummy really insisted on 'an aircon place' at first.....
That leaves us w only sum indoor venues but sumhow.....
ME D GREAT CONVINCER ahahhah managed to give her a perfect picture in her mind dat our wedding could be BEAUTIFUL N LOVELY if we do it in d outdoors....
GUESS WAT........She loves it!!!!!TO D MAX!!
She was so delighted....."ok lah....mcm mat saleh nye wedding eh kat park?" kata dia....
HAHAHHAHAHHA...banyak punye matsaleh....

Not dat i am tryin nake d wedding be too westernised....
My dream of a perfect wedding hav alwiz been a garden wedding in a natural surrounding area....
Didnt expect it could come true becos venues like changi n fort canning are kinda inaccessible for sum without transport...BUTTTTTTTTTTT I found a perfect place....

No matter wat....
Even though the decor and stuff goin to make it look like an ENGLISH GARDEN WEDDING( feeling fairytale princess lah konon).....I will still sanding in a TRADITIONAL style....
w traditional performances , customary procedures etc....
Insya allah....TRADISI TETAP HARUS DIKEKALKAN...
Hidup warisan kita.....CEDEBAH!!

But after d meeting yesterday w BABA ( MY CATERER) at d venue till 11pm...
I went home w a migraine as i hav a list of THINGS TO DO:
-Things (many many) to discuss w d NPARKS L/O
-Thing(also many) to add on w decor person
-Issues(important) to look into to ensure event can run smoothly despite bad weather (wet weather plan)
-Sourcing of tentages n logistic supplier
-Booking of ARANDA CC Suites ( for jop's n my side's close relatives)

Oh yeah lupa...nak bilang...
If everything runs smoothly...insya allah....
SOLEMNIZATION will be held at ARANDA COUNTRY CLUB ..
Then the reception & dinner will be held at d park nearby...MEANING sumwer in PASIR RIS PARK....

Yesterday , Jop n i went for outfits selection for our photoshoot which will be end of dis mth cos we wanna do it before ramadhan and syawal to give ample time for d pictures to be ready cos...we need it for-invites,wedding poster , montage
Jop hav to get his suits all customised becos of his body...



Hopefully they hav enuff time to get it done in 2 weeks...
So we had to pay 50% of d balance after d previous 30% deposit to RATU BRIDAL

I also paid deposit for our invitation cards n henna service yesterday...
More things hav been settled bit by bit alhamdulilah...


So now i hav to first confirm d Venue w NPARKs , then book ARANDA EXEC SUITES , then book tentages , gazebo , planking etc...
ARRRRGHHHHHHH!!!!!stress but FUN STRESS!!!

Things havent settle:
-Dinner berkat( but i hav in mind wat to get already)
-Banquet service engagement
-Hantaran stuff
-Logistics
-Dinner Jazz Band deposit
-ROMM REGISTRATION & KADI ( cos need venue to book)
-LAST BUT NOT LEAST ------kursus rumahtangga....tunggu jop's shift change..

Ok....so many things to do...so lil time..
Thats y i am so bz i hav no time to meet up w my lovely galfrens...
But i tink i would be organising a meet up w d gals next week...
