Finally...i get to squeeze some time to upload pics of HUBBY'S simple celebration dis yr plus some of d gifts he got....
Unlike last yr which seemed more surprising n elaborate...starting w d scrapbook then..spa session followed by a dinner at CAFE DEL MAR and finally a surprise w all his buddies at d karaoke studio...this yr is v much predictable n practical...cos perhaps i have run out of surprise ideas....hah...

This yr i got him wat he REALLY WANTED n asked for...like...

a 16GB iphone...cos his old hp have been dying on him so many times...and he is so in love w dis new toy of his ever since....
I also got him this TSHIRT w a matching colored shoe frm ADIDAS which i hav yet to snap a shot of...
The gifts dis yr are predictable cos i brought him along and let him choose wat he want...that way i won't go wrong w getting d proper size n design that he likes...PRACTICAL ryte...
Last , but not least is of cos the trip to GENTING and KL which i planned n paid for....just to have a short simple getaway for us frm all d stress n werk back home .
I also have to thank Nura , Imran and Eka w her whole family for joining in to surprise JOP at GENTING....AND TRUST ME...He was really SURPRISED!!!



Imagine...how shocking it was for jop....
He was soundly asleep in d GENTING THEME PARK HOTEL room...and i pretended to be in d shower room bathing...wen suddenly sumone pressed d door bell...i just ignored so dat he will have to get up and open d door himself...w his eyes all blurry and still groggy...
He opened the door and was so shocked seeing all of them outside holding a bday cake and started singing for him....
It was so cute....cos he was still rubbing his eyes as if...in disbelief to wat he is seeing right before his own eyes....while cutting the cake...:-)...
Nothing makes me happier than to see that priceless smile on his face...

The next few days were pretty much enjoyable for us as we headed down to KL ...
Did lotsa shopping for the Gallery and believe it or not....for d lil one...!!!
I am so in love w d baby stuff frm JUICY COUTURE boutique!!!


The PAVILION shopping mall is super huge...that it took us 2 days to really go ard the whole place and still...miss sum shops...
I only go for d boutiques selling stuff which u cant really find in SINGAPORE...like LOVELY LACE & JUICY COUTURE...
The cute ring bearers and other sweet stuff for my LOVECREATEZ collection are simply irresistable...

We stayed in a 3-bed room service apartment in d hrt of KL...
Ascott Service Aprtment is simply a nice place to stay which i really recommend to others who wishes to go to KL in a big grp..
On the 22nd floor of our apartment is a v nice SKY LOUNGE wer all of us went to on our v last nite stay in KL...

We could clearly see d gorgeous view of KL frm up there even though it was quite scary for me...

But...overall...i can clearly summarise the trip last weekend as AWESOME!!!

I am in a v gd mood cos my first trimester of PREGNANCY is over ...which means i have passed d most crucial moment...so less risk of miscarriage insya allah..
I will still have to take care of myself although now i have resume back dancing and preparing for a production in JUNE...
Hopefully everything goes as planned...

My hubby's colleague...Sazali and wifey just got a baby girl...another bundle of joy and pride to them...how lucky!
They have been blessed w one boy and now one adorable girl...
Hubby and i went over to c d newborn baby girl over d weekend...and we had a chance to carry dis cute lil angel in our arms....



Jop was finding it a v awkward thing to do...but i guess he better start practising frm now...


I also took d chance to make my first attempt in trying to create a DIAPER CAKE for the baby...It may not be so perfectly done like d professionals...cos i really have no idea how to do it...just trying out...





So this is d 'DIAPER CAKE' i created...and i tink i wanna call it...Raspberry Ripple Cake..hehe

I really had fun creating the diaper cake...furthermore , i was working w lotsa pink stuff....all for a babygirl!!V exciting indeed...

On a different note...i am feeling v excited as its 2 more days to Hubby's bday...
As how i have alwiz surprise him on his bday last yr or our important occasions like Anniversary or Valentine's day...this yr is just as exciting...
Although i hav already gotten him an iphone and Adidas shoes...i still hav plenty more surprises for him...
If last yr i did a thick scrapbook for him...this yr , i decided to go more high-tech by creating him sumthin using the macbook...a special 'project' which took me days to complete...
As for d BIGGEST SURPRISE ...will be waiting for him wen we go for out trip this thurs...

Its been a while since i post an entry which is simply blogging abt my feelings and thoughts...
It has all been on updates of d things i do , the places i go and the pple i have been with...which have been YEAH V FULFILLING!!

Been doing lots of thinking lately....
Life is so diff now...for me...
Not bad difference but...amazingly great better difference i guess

As how Wir mentioned in her speech as my MAID OF HONOUR during my wedding dinner...me as being sumone 'selfless' who alwiz put others before myself...Is it True??
I never really quite notice or realise that fact.
Really...but wen i really pondered abt it...
Then i recalled all d times on how i inappropriately helped pple i considered as frens which in d end cost me to be d one on d losing end...and dat happened so many times...
But not all d things in life i sacrificed for were worthless...
Some were WORTH it after all...

And now...in this stage of my life...
I started to realise there r other things i should really prioritise and label as my main concerns..
I cant just make decisions and do things only for myself...
But my Hubby & my Future Baby

If u notice...i have just included a PREGNANCY COUNTDOWN CALENDAR in dis blog..
I have also visited some websites to check on foetus development according to d diff stages of d pregnancy and how would d baby look like at the diff stages...
Its amazing to noe that now...in 10weeks...i get to roughly see how much my baby have developed into...
This makes me even feel more excited for d next Ultrasound Scan appt 2 weeks from now..
And by then...i would have passed the first trimester stage ...insya allah...

For now...both me n hubby have started preparing by planning on all d baby's needs frm how we r goin to makeover d extra room which is goin to be his/hers w a better air-con condition....to all d way on smaller stuff like wat kinda pram and baby car seat etc...

Just like how i had to cut down on shopping on 'my luxury wants' before my wedding...to make sure i can hav d dream wedding that i want all my MY HARD EARNED MONEY...now i hav to do just the same to prepare for d arrival of my baby in DEC...
However , i still cant help but buy some new clothing cos my tummy is really growing fast day by day . ....and i also have to keep on spending on essential stuff like GD COSMETICS , BRIDAL OUTFITS/ACCESSORIES for the WEDDING GALLERY cos its part of my job to earn even more money for d bridal biz .

So its tough...i now hav to juggle my job as a freelance choreographer & makeup artiste plus all d morning sickness which have yet to disappear and not forgetting d unbearable BACKACHE now...but i am LOVING it...
I now feel more complete....as a woman...as a wife and as a mother...
I am fulfilling my responsibilities...and i noe i can do it..

I just made a v important n tough decision today too...
I tendered my resignation as a Malay Subject Teacher in SOTA...
So i will continue teaching there till end of this term..
Reason being so is firstly cos i tink i need more rest for now...cos teaching the dance classes in d afternoons r tiring enuff... , at the moment my morning sickness r makin it tough for me to go for d morning classes at SOTA...and lastly in d future , i am worried there won't be anyone to take care of d baby wen i go to work cos i can still bring him/her wen i go for dance lessons in skl but i dun tink i can do dat in SOTA...

So i am gonna miss d students in SOTA...and they have yet to noe abt this...hmmm

K then...gtg wanna grab sumthin to eat now...

Last weekend was definitely awesome as i get to celebrate Mother's Day firstly w my family and relatives at Pasir Ris Park..
I didnt bring anything(food) to share but merely sum stalks of roses to give to all d MOMS....all my aunts & cousins who r already called MOMS....
It was v pleasing to see d smile on their faces when they receive d roses frm me....
Its a simple gift but i guess...sumthin sweet which every mom wud love to receive on that meaningful day...and sumday...i hope i will receive flowers on MOTHER'S DAY too!!




There were so much food....and thank god ...i didnt puke at all dat day...
So i was happily enjoying the Chili Crab , Mee goreng , and....one of my aunts took the trouble to prepare 'ikan sumbat' a kind of grilled fish...just for me...THE EXPECTING MOM cos i mentioned i had d craving for it weeks ago....
Its nice to be pregnant...hahaha pple will try means n ways to provide u w anything u wish to eat...*winks* at hubby...

I also had a makeup assignment last weekend for Suzana which i cudnt update here cos i forgot to take pics w my camera...so rushing n bz dolling her up i guess...hopefully she will send me d photos for me to upload and share here....

Later in the evening , Hubby and i went to meet Elynn & family for dinner at Cityhall...
We even managed to do sum shopping...both ELYNN & JOP were getting new shoes...
Hubby got one more gift for his bday...besides d Iphone...a pair of Adidas shoes...and more surprises to come by d 21st may....*grins*

We decided to dine at Breeks cos i was really craving for FONDUE dat day...
We also had a cake cutting session after dinner to celebrate Mother's Day for Elynn...
Too bad ayu was bz and cudnt join...cos actually d cake was meant for both of them...

Hubby and i had a great weekend together...and now...ever since we have been goin out w Alyaa & Shaista alot....Jop really hav to agree w me dat a baby girl is really v adorable...hahah but then again...we still dunno....
If i am goin to be granted w a BOY...i will still love him w all my heart...and he will definitely be d most precious gem i have...

I had to wake up v early last sat morning even though i had a v late nite d day before... out w ayu , elynn & their families...
I really had trouble waking up cos i was feeling so lethargic and plus all d morning sickness...i vomitted while gettin ready to go out dat i just dun feel like putting on any makeup at all...
Thank god.....my saviour...
WIRDANI was willing to help me out dat morning..
I fetched her at 6.30am before heading to Greenview sec to get my students ready....
If u r wondering , wat was d big event we were bz for....
It was Malay Arts Festival 2009 which was held at Taman Warisan (MALAY HERITAGE CENTRE)....and Greenview Sec was among d few schs invited bcos they attained GOLD AWARD in SYF recently...
My students were so proud n eager to perform....
And i really hav to say that they did their best PERFORMANCE that day...which was even better than SYF...Cos i hav been drilling them the whole week...telling them to work hard n really perform well so that audience who watches their performance will understand 'Y THEY GOT GOLD'...and not say..."huh???DATS a Gold??"....So...the students were trying their best to prove their abilities...

I was v proud of them...and of cos...my cute star ALFIE KECIK caught everyone's attention....

After the performance....Wir and i headed to MARINA SQ cos i was famished and craving for NACHOS...
So we had a great time laffing and catching up over lunch...before i sent her home and thank the lovely galfren of mine for helping me dat day...
I love her to bits!!!
