I was so bz preparing a special gift for my bestfren...WIRDANI
I would like to take d opportunity to congratulate her on her engagement and her BIRTHDAY last sun....LUV U V MUCH DARLING...

I noe dis blog is meant to be for my wedding preps but i dun mind including my bestie's engagement moments her cos dis blog is soooo d in d wedding mood....hehhehe...LOVE IS ALL ARD HERE...so happy.....for her , for myself for both of us...
We both hav went thru so much in d past...but suddenly we meet 'D ONE'...
In fact , just like me...she hav just known her fiancee recently abt less than a yr ago..

I am also v privileged to be SELECTED as d lucky person to doll her up dat day..
Never felt so nervous doin makeup n hair for sumone..
I really want her to look her best...
I told her to get a professional makeup artiste but she insisted on me to do it for her...
How can i say no to dis darlin of mine...so dis is it.....A simple thing i can do for her...

The actual gift dat made me so bz d whole week was A SCRAPBOOK FOR WIR...


Glad dat she like it v much...
Both of us love purple n pink...so wasnt so hard to work on it..
The funny thing is...JOP got jealous dat her scrapbook seems nicer than the one i did for him...haha sorry darlz...
Ok lets move on to sumthin else....
Last fri....
My sis n i went to SPA Le'Kraton to meet a fren of hers....Kak Suhaila who is d owner of d SPA Place...It was my first visit there...but yet i felt so at home...
The reason is becos...d place is so beautiful n has dis serene n calm ambience...
I lurve d decor ard tooo.......Kinda in tune with wat i want for my wedding decor...ehem ehem....
We spent quite a long time chit chatting w sis suhaila who was so nice n friendly explainin to us abt all d various treatments n packages there...





Back to d reason y i visited dis SPA place ......
I was there to find out more n makin arrangements for ME & JOP'S SPA n Facial Treatments as part of our PRE-WEDDING ESSENTIALS...

Besides that , sis also plan to present me w another COUPLE RETREAT SPA PACKAGE a day or two after our wedding...wow so exciting....

The best thing of it all is.........
Sis was planning for me to hav a SPA PARTY for sum of my close gal frens n cousins at SPA LE'KRATON as a healthier n unique way of conducting a HEN'S PARTY..
More details of d spa party will be updated to those involved wen d time comes nearer ok...
Thanx sis suhaila for d great hospitality.
I would definitely come and c u for facial , spa n facial waxing before my studio n outdoor photography next mth...

Last but not least..
I am so happy MY DECOR hav been confirmed!!!
I hav made d deposit to engage JENTAYU GALLERY...

SO...I am pretty sure i wud be able to get my DREAM WEDDING w lotsa nice beautiful fresh lilac roses n decorations..
I hav faith in u MEL!!!

A huge relief!!!!!!!
The decor company hav sent their quotation for decoration of d event n bridal room... So i am meeting up w them tomoro to pay d deposit...
I AM SO WORRIED they cant do my event cos there's another tentative bookin on d same day..
So i dun wanna waste any tyme...
Honestly i hav various opinions frm frens..
Sum said JENTAYU GALLERY is expensive and i should really consider...
But trust me....I NOE WAT I AM DOIN...
I hav went ard inquiring many places....
I asked n approached many decor companies which hav d same kinda concept at least..
Well...they r d only one dat captured my heart.. Plus the service is prompt so far.. They took the trouble to meet us promptly... Brought all sorts of samples n v attentive to wat we want... As u can c in d previous entry..they hav done gorgeous past works....agree?? Aniway...decor more or less settled...

Jop just bought a pair or sunglasses for our HANTARAN gifts ...
I noe its still early but no harm buyin our stuff bit by bit...so dat we wun feel d pinch all at one go I cant reveal d sunglasses....hav to wait till jan to see it...
But all i can say mine is white while jop's is wblack...same design but diff colors...
We didnt plan but sumhow saw d gorgeous sunglasses at LOEWE (pronounced as LO-WE-VE)...ngee ann city so we grabbed it before it gets sold out... Things at dis boutiques are quite exclusive only comes in 1 or 2 pieces...

I also bought a wedding organizer frm borders to help me keep things organized... Arranged all d invoices or things paid...keep all d diff things in place... Hehehhe..

Hi again...Its been a week since d engagement
I am really feelin awkward each time i hav to say...d word fiancee....
HEHEHEH...
Aniway...its been another beautiful week...
We hav continued w our wedding preparations as soon as d engagement is over...
The meet up w our photographers Ian n hubby , Fit3 was indeed enriching cos they gave us lotsa advice n tips on our wedding planning...
We hav sort out most of d things too..

Last fri was another meet up w d FAP pple to secure our booking w deposit for our PHOTOGRAPHY , VIDEOGRAPHY N VIDEO MONTAGE...wooohooo cant wait to c d montage!!!
The montage wud be played on our wedding...so dat reminds me of d fact dat i hav to rent a projector bla bla bla...
I hav also found d PERFECT decor company after so much contemplation...
I wud be using Jentayu Gallery insya allah...
Thought they wud be super duper expensive but after consulting n sitting down with them..they are quite affordable after all..
Mel d lady was so nice n warm...so attentive...she took down every single detail me n jop mentioned frm wat colors we like...wat kinda style , wat kinda vases or props...table settings to even d finer details like d napkin ring etc...
We both get to really choose wat WE REALLY WANT N IMAGINE our wedding to be...
Wat kinda dais seat , backdrop , fabric etc...omg i didnt noe wedding planning is so fun...

Now these r d things i am goin to hav for my wedding which hav been confirmed..
Sri Mahligai for my reception entertainment..
My photography , Videography n montage...
My makeup artiste wud be ABG SHAH frm RATU D' Weddings
I havent make my deposit for decor becos Mel hasnt get back to me on d quotation based on my additional features n customised stuff...but these r sum of d ideas we haf taken frm their past works....
I want dis flowers on my cushion but changed to lilac instead of pink

Everything went on smoothly last Sun...
In fact there were too many pleasant surprises...

Firstly i was glad my cousin Ayen frm Melbourne could video call w us n ' be w us' throughout d engagement ceremony..

I really hav to thank so many pple for makin d engagement successful...

I've been so bz past week w Coral's Concert at Jubilee Hall ,
Farrer Park pri n Changkat Changi Sec competition yesterday dat i forgot w d most important event which is today......MY ENGAGEMENT...
Believe it or not...i could only make time to buy his watch( gift exchange) , bunga rampai stuff etc only yesterday evening after d dance comp...
I was so tired n drowsy becos i hav been doin makeup for 15 students on fri...and abt 20 yest....
Really feelin unwell...
Dun even feel like doin up my own face today...
Yeah...since its just a small affair between our families...i decided to do my own makeup but yesterday i felt tired n tot of gettin one of my frens to do for me...
Unfortunately , everyone seems bz having pengantin....so still...i hav to do on my own..
:-(......

Last nite jop n me spoke on d phone before we sleep...
He just finished fixing d broken tepak sireh n got his finger hardened w d superglue...hahah how cute....
We both feelt excited , nervous n overwhelmed dat we hav come to d day...
Can't imagine how its gonna be if we get to d wedding day insya allah...
Feels weird haha....

Aniway...
I hav free time to go online now becos its not so bz yet and my family members , aunts n uncles already remind me not to go out at all till evening...
Therefore...any errands wud be done by my sis or cousins...
I also cudnt drive them becos...
JUST MET W AN ACCIDENT YEST...
A lorry bang into my car yesterday....argghhhh....
I hav no mood to tok abt dat....just wanna be happy/....

Its been a week since d last update...
I hav been pretty bz w werk...
I havent got d chance to really spend much time w jop too...

I just spoke to him on d phone as he is at werk...
I told him i suddenly miss him so much..
We used to be able to c each other almost everyday..
Now dat he is having nite shifts n irregular days...
Its so difficult for us to spend time becos of d clash in our schedule..
Dat makes miss each other n really treasure d v lil time we hav on certain days which i guess is gd..

Last sat ...i had a tiring day since mornin workin...
But sumhow pushed away all d thoughts of wanting to rest n sleep becos dat was d only day we both hav to go to town and buy 'my ring'...

Yeah....d engagement is DIS SUN...

I am not exaggerating but i only realised it just now dat...
ITS GOIN TO BE DIS SUN and cant believe its dis clos.e..
Perhaps its becos i hav been too bz w all my students shows n competitions dis few weeks dat i forgot abt a more important day besides d BIGGEST ONE in JAN of course...
I havent buy or prepared anythin at all besides d RING..

I will only upload d pic of d ring after sun ...

Its a simple one which hav captured my heart..
My dream of wanting to get an engagement ring frm GOLDHEART came true...Alhamdulilah...

I wanna sleep soon..
I need d sleep..beauty sleep??haha i dunno..

Thank god i havent paid deposit and confirm on d decor company..
Merely book verbally w d person..
D same goes for d invites , kendarats n many other stuff for d wedding..
I NOT ONLY GET TO CUT COSTS...I found a another company which has
many other beautiful decor works n JUST LIKE D RING DAT I found at GOLDHEART..
The moment i c and my hrt tells me....DIS IS IT...i love dis one...
It wud really mean...DAT IS D ONE...

So now left to finalise d no of invitations to prepare d invitation cards which i also managed to source for a nicer n cheaper one...heheh....

Once venue is settled... jop n me wudnt hav much things to tink abt...

Can just wait for d big day to come w no worries..
