Cudn't update much d past few days becos i hav been pretty bz w so many things to do...places to go...and things to settle...
By the time i reach home...i wud be too tired to update dis blog...
However now dat i am free n available at a v odd hour which is 6.34am which was shown on my watch....i decided to say sumthing....

My apologies to many frens n relatives if me n my family cudnt do much visiting for Hari Raya this year becos my close aunt who is my late mom's younger sister have been admitted to d hospital frm d 2nd day of Raya....
Therefore , me n my family have been going to SGH to n fro almost everyday together w our other relatives that we dun even hav time to do much Hari Raya visiting...

Yesterday at ard 8am i was awaken by a phonecall by my uncle..
As expected its regarding my aunt who was sick in d hospital..
He told me that my aunt was v critical and its best that i make my way to d hospital immediately but safely....
So i got up immediately and woke hubby up to quickly get ready ...
Fortunately we managed to be in d hospital and ICU ward on time to c my aunt still breathing and i was glad i could be der till she had her last breathe...

It was a hrtbreaking moment for all of us...d family members but glad at d same time that finally her sufferings have ended..
I guess its better that she go peacefully now as she have been on d life supporting system for d past week.

As my aunt's 'jenazah' can only be collected almost in d evening yesterday and brought home to hav proper funeral procedings...d burial can only be done today...which is later at ard 10am...

Hubby just came back frm his nite shift and i asked him to have a short nap...so dat we can make our way back to my aunt's pl in Telok Belangah by 8am..

Before i end this entry , i just wanna wish my condolences or perhaps better said as 'Salam Takziah' to my cousin Herni cos now she have lost both her MOM N DAD...
She just gave birth 2 mths ago...and still in a recovering stage...
So i hope she can be strong to go thru all this...

So i guess this year's Syawal has a different meaning to me n my family...cos this yr we just lost another of our beloved one....


I noe dis is Irony...but the pic above is a pic taken on Hari Raya many years ago wen my mom n her siblings were v young...
My mom is d first lady on d left top row...and my beloved aunt who just passed away is d lady beside her...

I hope its not too late for me to say SELAMAT HARI RAYA to all Muslim frens especially d blog readers of mine....This year's Hari Raya brings a different meaning to me....
Its d 3rd yr celebrating it w Joppri but dis time is d first time we r celebrating this joyous occasion together as Husband n Wife....and soon insya allah...next yr will be d first for us as Parents too....

Its been an enjoyable 2 days of visiting to all our elder relatives...and still more to come in d next few weeks...
However i am now down w flu n cough...plus Hubby need to go to werk...

Yesterday, wen I was otw home frm werk...
To be more exact..i was d one behind d wheels..
While stopping behind a few cars at a junction....i hrd a V LOUD screeching sound approaching...
I looked at my rear mirror and saw a car frm abt 100 metres approaching mine at a V HIGH SPEED..and sumhow i was prepared for d crash cs d car didnt look like it cud stop on time....
I culd still tink of wats d best thing to do..which was to press hard on my brakes so dat i wun end up hitting d car infront too....and hold my tummy v tightly...protecting my baby...JUST DEN ....
BANG!!!!!!!!

Luckily d other driver apologised...he better do...and i didnt waste much time talking...just asked for his personal details for report purposes later...
Elfi my fren was w me...so he helped w snapping d photos for d incident for evidence...and..my car was sent to d workshop...got a replacement TOYOTA ALTIS(Hmmmmm.....) not dat i hate TOYOTA but dunno y almost all cars dat ever HIT MINE are all TOYOTA!!!!So d resentment is kinda there...hmmm



Hubby n sis sent me to KKH cos i was trembling and feeling slight discomfort in my tummy as baby kept on kicking me v hard...
I was pushed to d DELIVERY SUITE cos i am already in my 7th mth...for thorough checkup...i was so scared...kept on tellin BABY Q..."pls dun come out yet k baby...its not time yet!!"

Wat a relieve it was wen was told by d nurse ard 8pm dat baby's hrtbeat seems fine ...so i can go home..just have a baby's movements chart dat i have to use to monitor his movements for d next few days...hmmm...
Thanx to all frens n loved ones for d well wishes once again...
Both me n BABY appreciate it...

On a separate note...
I am so excited that Hari Raya is coming....v soon...
I had a pleasant surprise for my MIL this year...by ordering a flower arrangement for d dining table frm PILLAR CHICHA... especially Sis Amilia for her golden touch...arranging d beautiful flowers for my dining table...
Hope my MIL will love d surprise dat i hav gotten for her...






W a few more final touches...my crib will be all ready for HARI RAYA ...
So tomoro...still got sum things to do...
So many errands to run...

Last Sat was an Iftar Gathering for all TEATER TARI ERA'S past present n potential 'future' dancers...(my baby)...haha and dat made my instructor ABG OSMAN hav a big laff...
Its been months since i last seen some of my dancemates...
Of cos...i miss dem so much and therefore the gathering last sat was a v pleasant time spent w them...

As u can c...thats d new PEOPLE'S ASSOCIATION which is now located beside JALAN BESAR STADIUM...
The whole place n d dance studio is so new n spacious...

On a diff note...
I have to apologize to my galfrens for calling off today's Iftar Plans becos i had many things to do...Dad's shiftin house and i'm still waiting for d bed delivery to my place...
I was really looking forward to d gathering but i guess we just hav to postpone it to a HARI RAYA GATHERING instead..insya allah...

I gtg now....need to check on hubby who is sick now...
Brought him to d clinic and it seems dat his asthma is back...
Poor hubby ....having difficulty w his breathing now...

Food...food and more food.......

My appetite is getting better everyday...

Other than the fact that i have been enjoying gd food becos of my pregnancy....

I have been able to spend this years Ramadhan well w my loved ones...

And of cos first time celebrating this blessed mth of Ramadhan being a wifey....

But i still try to find n make time to meet up w my bestfren...and family and other frens whenever i can .....

Cos there were days when hubby needs to werk at nite and i get d chance to meet up w all these pple for iftar , shopping and preparations for Syawal

Recently , Hubby and i went to Badoque for iftar which was invited by Nina for all her frens...

And we really enjoyed d buffet spread and delicacies served by my own fren Salim and his staff...

Other than d gd yummy tasting food...i can also assure u that BADOQUE provided an excellent customer service which u will be v impressed with.

I hope to go there again soon...but this time w WIRDANI as i have promised her....

And now dat we only have few more days left before Syawal...i hope that i could still meet up w my galfrens as planned this week....

But no eating out dis time....Insya allah...

I will be healthy and able to cook a simple meal as i invite them over to my pl....followed by SG IDOL watching session and of cos all d lafter n joking time which i am really looking forward to...

This coming WEDNESDAY....
